We are all Superheroes!
We do good acts in the world and want to be more in tune with who we are and who we can be.
Embrace your powers, bring them to the ride, and discover what more you have.
You don't need to be an athlete. We will bike up to 40 miles in a day (generally between 0 and 30), which can be strenuous, but we will go slow and make it doable for all riders. Our goals are not long rides; but to be present, to come together, to help all who we can, and to enjoy the ride.

SuperStretch is calling this ride

Which means that I am doing a lot of the organizing and getting things together (with great help!), making sure all ducks (and cats) are in a row, and that we have all that we need to ground us before we go on this great adventure.

We all are leading this ride (new riders as well); and me too. Now, I am helping to lay the foundation so the rubber can meet the road . . .

I have been on three rides so far (Texas 2010, Iowa 2011, Missouri 2013) and they have all ~stretched~ the limits of possibility.

I'm from California (and live at Dancing Rabbit Ecovillage in Missouri) and am excited to be back riding in my home state . . . or is Missouri my home state? . . . Or is the present state my home state . . . ?

thanks to Erica (Superhero name TBD) for making this awesome site!

All are invited!!

The Superhero Ride is a movement that began in 2000 with a small group of superheroes, including the Zing (then dubbed The Blazing Echidna), who nows holds down the fort at Superhero Headquarters — the Possibility Alliance in La Plata, MO. In 2011 we banded up with Laughing Moon and the Superhero Training Academy, based out of Footquarters in Detroit, MI, who are currently breaking through the impossible.
